Miniature Horses

Miniature horses at Winding Creeks Farm have been selected based on confirmation, small size and beautiful colors. Stallions include Dakota, a handsome black and white pinto whose father was homozygous, and Raiders Hi Ho Henry, a 28” tiny white stallion.
Our dams include a 27” blue roan, Nellie, to a number of spots,
paints, and medicine hats. We get lots of colors, small size and gentle,
affectionate foals that make excellent pets and companions or are
perfect compliments for anyone’s breeding program. Miniatures require much the same care as a standard size horse except in much smaller quantities. One acre of pasturing is suggested for two miniatures, but it is possible to keep one in a good-sized backyard with supplemental feeding. All of our horses are registered with either the AMHA or the AMHR. |
